Baseplate Octal Connector

Solid Sealing Technology now offers the Vacuum Coating Industry with an Eight Pin Double Ended Baseplate Connector Assembly. This new connector is designed and manufactured by SST and utilizes SST’s glass ceramic sealing technology providing a leak tight assembly. The conductors are 2.3 mm (.090 inch) diameter Alumel pins on the vacuum side with a current rating of 5 amps. The complete assembly with plugs has a voltage rating of 350V DC and temperature capability of -25°C to 205°C.

The high density connector can be supplied to customers on a one inch baseplate, as a weldable unit or as an assembly in an industry standard flange, fitting, or custom plate configuration. Industry standard plugs are available for both sides of the double ended connector.
